Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful. Doctor Dream and her staff were knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to us. I felt very comfortable and there was no stress.

I went another place and I didn’t feel that I was at the right place although everyone was very nice, but I did a little more research on line and saw this Doctor on a speaking about parathyroids and I instantly knew that was where I need to be,so I called my doctor and ask him to made an appointment for me here. I truly think it was God timing to get me where someone specialized in what was going on with me, my parathyroid.

AFTER I CIRCLED THE BUILDING 6 TIMES TO FIND THE PARKING GARAGE, IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I THINK I WAS CALLED BACK TO LABS IN 10 MINUTES AFTERCHECK IN AND SHE WAS FABULOUS BECAUSE I AM DIFFICULT TO STICK-THEN UP TO DR. CHEN'S AREA-AGAIN, CALLED BACK IN 15 MINUTES AND THE TEAM WAS VERY THOROUGH AND I WAS ABLE TO GET ALL MY QUESTIONS RESOLVED AND I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT AT ALL TO SEE ANY OF THE TEAM---YOU DO A GREAT JOB!!!!

Dr. Chen is everything a surgeon should be. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable. He explained everything he was going to do in laymen's terms. I was confident he would do everything he said he would do.

Everyone we encountered from first encounter via phone & email through in-person consultation, pre-op & labs were nice, well informed & extremely helpful. I don’t think we encountered one person at the Kirklen Clinic that didn’t exemplify great customer service. The facility was very busy & the laboratory team were extremely busy, yet efficient & helpful. Dr. Chen’s office made us completely comfortable & explained everything & answered all our questions.

Dr. [ ] was amazing at my preoperative appointment with Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen is a rock star! And the anesthesiologist the day of surgery took my post operative concerns seriously and did everything to mitigate it.

Even though it was an extremely busy day at UAB every nurse and Dr let me ask any questions that I needed answered. No one rushed me and they heard all of my concerns and we came to a conclusion and an action that was best for my health. Thank you!! We are extremely blessed to have the UAB System in Birmingham!! ❤️🙏
