I sure would! Maybe a plus 10. He is most authentic. Spends time with each patient. He listens and reacts to one’s needs.

Dr. Hekman saw my dad, who has Alzheimer’s and just finished cancer treatment, for his on going high blood pressure. My sisters and I have an extremely challenging time meeting our dad’s needs due to push back from his wife, who we believe has some form of dementia, and my dad’s Alzheimer’s. Dr. Hekman took his time to listen to our concerns, he was extremely patient and kind to my dad. He made an effort to talk with my stepmom to explain my dad’s needs, try to express the importance of taking his medication regularly, and staying hydrated. I feel he truly heard our concerns and did not just brush it off as “family dispute.” The staff have always been just as helpful, compassionate, and understanding.
