Dr. Hekman is a physician who cares about your whole health; mind, body and soul. He is a delightful person and every time I see him it’s like seeing an old friend. He genuinely wants to know about you and how he can help your health journey.

Down to earth, professional and knowledgeable doctor. Listens to the patient and maintains eye contact. Very informative and clearly formulated game plan and explained patient’s role, staff and doctor’s role.

Dr. Hekman is a rarity—attentive, friendly, personable, approachable, and encouraging. He maintains realistic expectations for wellness and is encouraging with the little wins that really add up. I hope I am able to visit him for many more decades.

Dr. Hekman is attentive, kind and so easy to talk to. He makes every visit personable and like talking to a dear friend. Every concern is addressed and Dr. Hekman truly cares about his patients. Dr. Hekman is by far the best physician I have ever had for my severely Autistic son. He is a treasure and I'm so grateful for his care and expertise.

What specifically impressed me about Dr Hekman was his incredible ability to listen and thoroughness. During my recent visit regarding joint pain & chronic hiccups, he took the time to fully understand my concerns and explain all the treatment options in clear, easy-to-understand language. I never felt rushed.

I have had a few family physicians over the years but none that I have cared for as much as this one. He truly listens to you. He is sincere. He doesn’t push meds to fix things. Really can’t say enough great things about him. I am moving out of state but keeping him as my physician and will make the trip back for my appointments. . Thank you Dr. Hekman!

He is really a very caring Dr. and he listens to the patient and what they are experiencing unlike so many Dr's. that slap you with a handful of prescriptions and a bandaid. He trys to get to the root of the problem then a course of action. You can trust him unlike many Dr's. this day and time.

His communication skills are excellent and medical knowledge is one the best in my 77 years of managing health. He is prompt in returning calls and great follow thorough on my progress. Dr. Hekman is a the cornerstone of my healthcare team. Finally he is committed to my health care management. I thank God that I have such commitment doctor at this stage of my life.
