After this DBS surgery that Dr. Walker recommended I have a much higher quality of life. I would recommend to anyone suffering from Parkinson’s to UAB.

Because of the positive attitudes of staff and support. Dr Walker and his team, including students and residents, all take their time with me. I never feel rushed and every word i say is taken seriously.

First time experience at this facility for me. Smooth, efficient process delivered in a timely manner by friendly staff. Worth the 2.5 hour drive.

Staff got a nine because of the check out gal. She is adequate I guess, but she acted like she didn't like her job. Acted like she had to deal with yet another patient. Maybe she was having a bad day. But certainly not the norm in my experience.

My personal experience is that my symptoms have been well controlled for years now. As to recommending others, I have and I will because of my experience and personal friends who have been treated there.

The staff can be hit or miss. They were a bit rude at my last visit. However, my provider is awesome!! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Walker.

Everyone was great and professional except the lady out out front taking the copay and registration She was very unprofessional to the lady in front of me, which was there because she already had enough problems. She did not need Or deserve that attitude in the morning.

UAB offers the TOP Doctors and professions in the country for research and health support for Parkinson's Disease and the care I receive there is excellent. I cannot say enough about how blessed I feel having UAB so close and being a patient there.
