SOME PEOPLE MIGHT SHY AWAY FROM AN NP BUT ALEXIS IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE AND THEREFORE SHE IS CAPABLE OF HANDLING ANYTHING THAT MIGHT COME UP. I HAVE BEEN SEEING HER FOR AWHILE NOW AND IF I DIDN'T THINK SHE KNEW HOW TO TREAT ME RIGHT I WOULD NEVER HAVE RETURNED. SHE HAS MY FULL CONFIDENCE THATWHEN I SEE HER I AM IN GOOD HANDS,

Although I was feeling better since my last labs were taken in February, I feel that Ms. Harper didn't think it was important enough to request a rush on my labs and I received them 2 days later, she was off on that day and I have yet to hear from her to go over my lab results and request an order to decrease my medication dosage.

I asked her what adjustments could be made, and she told me a list of options, and we chose the one that was the best for me in my situation. She also explained the steps we were to take with the new medicine, and to contact her if there was no significant change in two weeks. This gave me the confidence to try the new medicine and move forward. She always kept a positive frame of mind which helped me not to get too down about this negative recent result.

SHE IS A VERY THOROUGH DOCTOR EVEN THOUGH I SEE HER FOR MY DIABETES SHE CHECKS MY RECORDS TO SEE WHAT ELSE IS WRONG OR WHAT HAS HAPPENED SINCE THE LAST TIME I SAW HER. THIS HELPS HER TREAT MY DIABETES WITH INFORMED KNOWLEDGE SO IF SOMETHING IS DIFFERENT SHE CAN DETERMINE IF IT IS FROM THE NEW SYMPTOMS. SHE TALKS TO YOU IN LANGUAGE THAT IS UNDERSTANDABLE NOT MEDICALESE. SHE LISTENS TO WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. SHE IS CERTAINLY AN ASSET TO THE IMAGE OF WHAT OLYMPIA FIELDS HOSPITAL WANTS TO PORTRAY - THAT OF A CARING HOSPITAL THAT PUTS ITS PATIENTS AHEAD OF TREATING THEM LIKE A CUSTOMER.
