The MD was aware of my past medical history and had a plan in place going forward. He was very professional with a terrific bedside manner!!!! He took his time to make sure I understood what the plan will be. He even summarized everything at the end of my visit.

The doctor and his staff were very kind, professional, and the doctor is extremely empathetic. The girls at the front desk were amazing, very helpful, and the nurse that got my blood pressure, very, very, very kind. I have no complaints. They know what they're doing.

Dr Kawsar and I have an excellent rapport, and we have a respectful exchange of ideas, resulting in a treatment plan that helps me to have better quality of life. We discuss latest research and things we both have learned from other sources : he shared information he learned from a CML specialist from Mayo Clinic conference, and I shared what I had seen on a presentation from a "Blood Cancers United" (formerly Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) about Scemblix as well as the latest news about Treatment Free Remission criteria.

Dr Kawsar answers all my questions and fully explains the impact of everything. He takes his time and makes sure that I understand the impact of all my blood tests. I am sure that Dr. Kawsar will keep my condition under control and will certainly always make sure that every question I have is answered before I leave his office.

I have seen three other hematologists in the past 4 years, two from this group. Dr Kawsar is the FIRST one who has ACTUALLY LISTENED to me and DIDN'T DENY the side effects of the medication. He has treated me with respect, answered my questions, gave me his recommendations and his reasoning. I truly felt that he cared about me and wanted to get me the best available treatment to control the disease and also ameliorate the toxicity and miserable side effects. Thank you, Dr Kawsar.
