Dr. MaryBeth Hall is an exceptional surgeon and doctor whose expertise and compassionate care truly stand out. She always takes the time to listen carefully to my questions and provides thorough, thoughtful explanations that put me at ease.
During my recovery from her recent life saving surgery, I experienced the most extreme back pain of my life and ended up in the Emergency Department. Two ER doctors quickly concluded that my gallbladder needed to be removed based on preliminary tests. However, Dr. Hall went above and beyond—she came to visit me at the hospital after hearing about my situation.
Dr. Hall suggested the possibility of severe constipation due to the pain medications I had been on, a diagnosis the ER doctors had not considered. I declined the gallbladder removal, especially since I was still healing from surgery.
Four hours later, the final test results confirmed her insight: my gallbladder was perfectly healthy, and the issue was indeed constipation. I was released from the ER that day.
Thank you Dr. Hall, you’re a lifesaver and a compassionate doctor.
