Dr Haenel explains things in layman's terms. And he listens to what I had going on healthwise and uses that information to determine his treatment of my endocrine issues.

My appointments with Dr Haenel are always very informative . He is a pleasure to talk to about treatment plans , options in medications etc. I actually look forward to my appointments with him.

I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr. Haenel. He diagnosed my Graves disease and prescribed treatment that has Vastly improved my quality of life. I understand I may have complications in the future, but I know that Dr. Haenel will help me with the best course forward.

Dr. Haenel demonstrates a signifigant interest in hearing what I have to say, explaining his diagnosis and treatment plan, what expectations he and I might have for my next tests / appointment.Dr. Haenel's depth of knowledge of my larger health situatio, and how he addresses same. Dr. Haenel's depth and breadth of knowledge is remarkable as is the degree to which he makes me feel comfortable - I have found a physician that has great compassion and is more congenial than I expected.

Dr. Haenel recommended that I try the pump again, specifically the SmartGuard pump. I am very thankful and happy that I did!I have lost 15 pounds in three months because of how well this new and much improved pump helps reduced highs and almost eliminated lows. Interestingly it also reduced my sugar cravings.In the doctor's office, I worked with Lauri [ ], nurse, who trains patients on this pump. She displayed great emotional intelligence when she helped me learn a complicated process of attaching and using the transmitter and receiver!
