I am confused as my prior doctor, Dr. Johnson, retired and I was referred to Dr. Gurien. I needed to start over as a "new patient" with him with a interview and consultation. After our interview I was told by an associate that he was leaving the practice and would not be doing my procedure. I do not understand how I could be interviewed for a procedure that he is not going to be able to perform??

Dr. Gurien is very compassionate, understanding, super funny and very knowleageable. Even though he's young, he has the experience of much much older doctors. Many doctors should learn from him.
