Dr. Nelson is very caring and explains everything to you. He always takes the time to make sure you know exactly what he is saying. Can't thank him enough for that. I've been to several doctors who rush in and rush out.

Dr Nelson was straight forward about my condition and concerned he didn't give up on me even though I gave up on my self he did my procedure professionally and promptly I'm Grateful to have the pleasure of choosing him to take care of me and look forward to seeing him every time I need medical care Thank Dr Nelson for Being The Best surgeon I could ever pray for I Highly recommend Him to Family and friends

My original visit with Dr. Nelson was very professional and I felt very comfortable with him doing the procedure that I needed. He understood my pain and knew what I needed for quality of life. However the follow up visit with him I felt I was very dismissed on some of my issues I was having, such as hip issues, causing me lack of sleep and pain. Either he didn’t know how to deal with my issues that I was having after surgery or he didn’t want to deal with him as I felt.

Love his bedside manner. Always explains things well, and shows me the xrays or mri photos. Very polite. Had 2 successful surgeries with him going to have another knee replacement in feb. Staff in his office are wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. Cant say enough about his practice.

I normally don't leave a comment. But, Dr. Nelson is an awesome Dr. His bedside manners truly warmed my heart. I knew them I was in good hands. I have recommended him to all coworkers and associates.

Explains thoroughly what is going on regarding your joints.
Answers any questions that you may have.
Tells you what can be done to solve the problem.
Allows you to make the decision to improve the quality of your mobility.
I would definitely consider Dr Nelson as your Orthopedic doctor.
In my personal opinion he's the top Orthopedic Surgeon at DePaul Hospital.
