My provider has the habit of repeating the last few words I speak almost as I say them and sometimes she gets them wrong. Also my doctor is almost always in a rushed state, talking fast and barely touching the topics to get through the appointment quickly. She seems uncomfortable in her state of dress as she was constantly pulling on the bottom of her skirt to ensure she is covered. I believe a professional woman should know how to dress while seeing patients. I get along well with this doctor and she hasn't done anything wrong but I feel uncomfortable and rushed in my appointments with her. I may switch away from her for these reasons.

Dr. patel is always on the ball. I trust her very much. I told my sister about her and she made an appt. To see her driving over an hour to do so.

She got a 0 for recommendation because I don't recommend any of my doctors to anyone. The less people that know how awesome they are, the easier it is to get an appointment

Dr. Patel is an excellent doctor. She listens carefully and explains things clearly. I drive 50 minutes to see Dr. Patel instead of seeing similar doctors that are much closer to me. I will continue to make this commute because she is outstanding. In addition, she was right on time for the appointment which is rare for doctors these days.

Dr. Patel was very attentive to my needs and concerns. Offering me options as a part of the "TEAM" in proving my care. Easy to talk to and I understood the care plan completely! Left the office feeling like I finally got a plan. I felt confident in moving forward with my care of my diabetes. The login (intake) process was a bit rough.

Loved the doc and staff. But how is that office HIPAA compliant???? I could clearly hear a doctor and patient talking in the next exam room. And I could clearly hear a truck driver outside the window talking on his cell phone. Shouldn't healthcare office/treatment space meet a tighter privacy design requirement??

Dr. Patel, Goonja Patel was great when it came to listening to me and my concerns about the medication. She realized and listened that I had lost weight and that it was time to reduce the metformin somewhat that I was taking. I think she's a very fine doctor and I'll be glad to see her again.

The provider was not prepared for my visit. It was obvious she was not aware of my medical history with regards to hypothyroidism as well as type 2 diabetes. She asked if I had hypo or hyper, and then later asked if I had Hashimoto.She asked what medication I was taking for my hypothyroidism and the dosage. A quick look at my info would have made the visit more productive. She did not address my concern for morning sugar readings. She walked into the room , didn't introduce herself or smile when saying hello. She moved immediately to her computer and rarely looked up when talking with me.My waiting time to see her was exceptional but I felt rushed when speaking with her. I understand she must record,but I felt like a number, not a person. The visit summary as recorded on my chart was not totally accurate. I am willing to give this particular doctor a second chance, as I understand her behavior may not have been typical, but will seek another professional if I receive the same type of care at my next visit.

I felt that Dr. Patel was very thorough. She made me feel very comfortable, which I appreciated, and she did explain things in a fashion that I understood and didn't hesitate to have me ask questions and answer them.

I left feeling blessed. I was in almost an emergency situation and went praying I could see a doctor that day. At first there wasn't any available time, very quickly the woman at the desk said, "Wait! The doctor you were to see in a week or so can see you at 9am!" I was thrilled! Plus, the fellow who did the weighing and measuring was so nice! Further, the doctor was so nice, explained my situation and made me feel very comfortable and hopeful. I left feeling that this doctor cares about her patients and actually, every staff member I interacted with made me feel the same way... that they care!!!

Dr Patel is a highly skilled physician. She has an excellent bedside manner with clear communication. I appreciate that she comes to each visit prepared to discuss the next steps of care, and to address any questions or concerns that I may have. I am confident that I am getting the best care.
