I assume Dr. VZ does not control her case/patient load. It's particularly frustrating not being able to get in for 3-4 weeks, because a virus has run it's course at that point. I went to urgent care due to the wait and they give generalized care. Although this particular time felt like very generalized care w/ Dr. VZ and hardly personal.

Dr Vande Zande was excellent. She was very helpful and patient and listened to all of my issues. She addressed each one with professionalism and attention to my symptoms. She explained her diagnosis in full and provided a prescription to help. My symptoms have been alleviated and I am feeling much better thanks to Dr Vande Zande. I have always had great experiences with her and her entire staff.

While I think the provider is overall competent, she would benefit from additional time/training spent with peers with an advanced skill set. When a patient brings up a medical issue(large or small), at a bare minimum the provider should examine or follow up with additional questions.

A few years ago Dr. Vande Zande got me in to see her immediately on the first day I had A-fib and got me on the path to eventual cardiac ablation. She has been and is everything a patient could hope for---especially for an inquisitive person like me.

It was obvious that Dr. Vande Zande had spent time reviewing my medical history before our meeting. She asked relevant questions and spent time getting to know me. She suggested I get blood work done so escorted me back to the lab and before 8:00 the next morning, she sent me feedback via MyChart on the results. I feel comfortable and confident moving forward with her as my primary care physician.

Could have taken more time with me. She did not even have me sit on the table to listen to my heart or anything. Only talked to me sitting in a chair.
