Dr G has been the biggest help of all. I told her in the beginning I needed blunt honesty to make the right decision whether to do Reconstuctive Surgery after my double mastectomy. She wasn't pushy & answered all my questions & there were a lot of them

Dr Gillespie is absolutely wonderful. She’s honest, caring, extremely talented and takes the time to understand and helped me feel comfortable and confident with a difficult (not everyday) procedure. I’m so happy with everything so far I could cry.

Dr. Gillespie performed my scheduled surgery, in addition, she performed a cleansing of my breast that a previous doctor had failed to clean out all the debris. In my opinion that is above and beyond excellent service.

Dr Gillespie is incredibly caring and has shown genuine compassion for me through one of the most difficult times of my life. She sees me as more than a patient but as a mother with young kiddos, wife, health care professional, and someone with a surprise cancer diagnosis. When I was worried that I had developed an infection, she squeezed me in on a non-clinic day after she was done with surgery so that I would not have to wait for her next clinic day after a long holiday weekend. She took time to listen to my concerns and assure me everything would be OK. Franciscan Health and patients needing reconstructive surgery are incredibly lucky to have Dr Gillespie!

I really liked Dr Gillespie. She was very knowledgeable, spoke slowly enough for us to understand, and was very patient in answering our questions. She was the only Dr to go over certain aspects of a single versus double mastectomy. She was also kind and didn’t come across as arrogant or condescending, which was something I experienced at a different practice.
