What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Adair was very unkind, rude, and aggressive towards me during my last visit. I felt intimidated, not listened to, and as if I was wasting both our times. And he doesn't seem to want to follow up with patients after surgery. Very hard to schedule an appointment. During my 2 year visit he told me “I only have 5 minutes to meet with you.” I took 2 hours off of work for this visit and you only can do "5 minutes." McKayla was not there to follow up with me and he couldn’t either. Told me she would contact me; 6 months passed by and still no call or email. I mentioned this during my 2.5 year visit on Monday and he quickly went from very aggressive and rude to apologetic saying that may have been his fault. Only told I gained weight; don’t know how much; and no clue what my vitals were. Only offered weight loss meds and when I refused he seemed pissed. I have bigger problems to deal with like my mental health and much needed dental work. I was made to feel insecure, scared, and nervous.
What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
He’s a smart doctor but gave me about 2 mins after he came in. Didn’t answer any of my questions or even follow up with me on whether I need a scope. I won’t ever be going back again. His nurse and PA are wonderful. It’s a shame they have to work for such an uncaring provider. He’s all about making money and herding people through like cattle. I’m going to find a provider who cares about me and my medical concerns.
What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Receptionist was snotty, person who scheduled appointment was snotty (maybe same person?), RN was super nice, doctor only in for a couple minutes and not impressed, don't feel he even knew anything about me and felt like med. Options were pushed, rather than looking at holostic approach. Felt talked down to and like I had never tried to lose weight or keep it off before when my whole life has been spent trying to do just that.
His nurse was outstanding 5 stars, caring and helped contact other doctors for me to get the total health care I needed! Can’t thank her enough.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
I understand he is busy but sometimes he literally just pokes his head in the room and says all set, but when I did have questions he did take the time to answer.
At this point there has been very little communication following my visit except for a confused phonecall from the scheduling assistant. She said she would get back to me and never did.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Follow-up. Other than the notes in MyChart written by Dr. Adair there has been no communication on next steps. He mentioned wanting to get the notes from my previous doctor and when I had a similar procedure but for some reason no one has acknowledged seeing them in the portal which I uploaded one hour after the appt.
He's founders. Easy to understand. Also I truly appreciate his staff.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing. Once, I was there when the appointment rooms were being shared by 3 technicians/physicians. I was 45 minutes late getting in & am confident it was because of the shared space.
Dr. Jamie Adair is a great Doctor in my opinion. I’ve had 3 appointments with him in the last 4 years. Every time he explained the procedures well, he was focused, careful and always explained so I was comfortable, his nurses were always there to assist as needed. I would highly recommend him.
My first ever surgery was the removal of my gal bladder Dr Adair from day 1 of my visit was excellent and showed the highest care and professionalism. My follow ups were great and had no major complications after surgery he is top notched in my opinion
His office nurse was outstanding. Not rushing me and answering all my questions and explaining things to me very clearly. It was my first visit there. I only saw him for about four minutes, but he was pleasant.
I absolutely trust and respect this whole office. I have received such informative and complete information there was nothing that surprised me in my surgery. I am so grateful that my PC referred me to this facility.
The intake nurse and scheduling professional were both very thorough. Dr. Adair had a student working with him on the day of my visit. He was very kind and also very thorough. It was a great appointment and very stress free. Dr. Adair explained what he would be doing and that it might be a while due to scheduling constraints. I felt like the scheduled procedure was arranged in a very reasonable time frame.
