He is professional, yet conveys a warmth and his concern. As a patient, I feel seen and heard. He has twice been terribly important in difficult medical situations. One was a problem in a foreign country and another, identifying I needed immediate hospitalization.

Dr. Gatz is awesome! Let's talk 11 y.o. shots! Which my 11 y.o. very strong athletic son FREAKED out. Wasn't going to do it. Wanted to fight me when I grabbed him like I'm done negotiating, this is just happening, you have no choice. As he was starting to fight me, 3 badass nurses walk in, he straightens right up, sits down and gets the shots. Great job ladies!!! No clue what happened to him as he gets hit harder with a soccer ball or shot with paintballs/airsoft bullets. I was not thinking he would react like that as it is completely out of his character (he doesn't really remember what happened either way).
