I really like Dr Fred Hankin and his staff. They are always polite, helpful and leave you well informed on your medical condition and options for treatments.

Dr.Fred Hankin & The Michigan Orthopedic Group are an incredible team!
Caring, patient, understanding and light hearted towards each process.
No matter the severity of the medical issue, Dr.Hankin gives me the confidence in my mind I can get back using my hands through the steps he provides. And using “everyday terms” not just physicians use, lets me see the light in the tunnel.

When a physician can make me feel like an individual & not just another “patient or number”, I feel like we are part of the healing process together. Since the medical group has the knowledge it’s crucial for that support, for me atleast. And surgery is serious and some individuals need different type support.

I saw Dr. Hankin and the very next day he called me to discuss my care. he was reading his notes from the previous day and called to explain additional options I had. Very comforting to me.

Dr Hankin was gentle, friendly and allowed me to reason through my treatment choices in a practical manner. He never pushed and gave clear feedback, prepared me on what to expect and gave me good information regarding success rate of treatment. I appreciate that. He also has a good subtle sense of humor.

Dr. Hankin is the best hand doctor and surgeon in the business in my opinion. He is a pleasure to talk to and did an excellent job correcting my trigger finger problems with minimal to no pain or discomfort afterward!!

Please hire and train more doctors like dr. Hankin. If there were more doctors like him, individuals would not hesitate in going to see a doctor.

Dr.Hankin has seen me grow as an individual and become an outstanding citizen. The information he has given me over the years will forever be useful. He has supported me through all my development. I feel blessed to have him as physician and I would call him a friend. Dr.Hankin will also be an attendee in my up and coming wedding.

Excellent: During exam, both the Dr. specialist & assistant were thorough, informative & open for dialogue! I was comfortable with the environmental setting and overall professional care being given. Understanding my diagnosis and the pertinent background were carefully presented in such a manner that was not rushed, but comfortable…very pleased!
