Overall experience very good. At some point, would like to discuss drug de-escalation.

When we arrived at the office we attempted to sign in on the kiosk in the front however it would not work and told me to go to the front desk when I did he told me that they were having the problem all day and it did it till like the last 10 patients so the kiosk wasn’t working after the appointment two patients walked in, and I observed them stand there and they were confused because they didn’t know what to do the front desk. Staff was not busy at the time and they never said hello. Welcome nothing even though the kiosk was broken. Even with the kiosk and if it’s working, I still feel that the front staff should say hello when patients come in and instead, they just sit there and ignore them while the person signs in on the kiosk. It’s very unfriendly. So it would be much better if the office staff greeted patients when they came in instead of just ignoring them and let a kiosk greet them.

Also disappointed that I had requested an urgent referral from him to see an ophthalmologist, and it wasn't even on his radar to ask me about. It was a big deal for me having flashes in my eye. Regarding the nurse or MA who took my vitals: "Because you don't have health insurance, I suppose you won't want to be getting ... pap smear ... mammogram." Just because I don't know have health insurance, doesn't mean I'm poor. Nor does it mean that I take my health less seriously. It does mean, however, that I am strategic about where and when I get health services.

He clearly keeps up on new meds/treatments...a lot of doctors don't.He doesn't jump to new meds as the answer for everything but always explains the pros/cons if new meds are agreed to.
