Dr Ficke made me feel very at ease and explained things in a clear and concise way. He was clear on the healing journey and the restrictions I should follow. Very knowledgeable and with a great bedside manner. He took the time to listen and answer any questions. His fellow doctor [staff] was excellent too!

My doctor is a good provider and he tells me straight but I need to know about my problem and I appreciate the time that he takes to make sure that I understand everything before I leave the exam room because I'm a man that is slow and understanding

My experience with Johns Hopkins in this provider was absolutely perfect. Before I even sat down I was called. My mother was with me she's in her 60s and she's never had such a great experience with everybody being friendly. I was doctoring for my issue for months and got no help and I came in here within 5 minutes that doctor gave me some hope. I just can't say enough good things.

Dr. Ficke is a model physician. He clearly thinks carefully about the best course of action, communicates it patiently, and includes all necessary details supporting his recommendation. I have yet to meet a physician (and specifically a surgeon) who instills this level of confidence.
