Maybe my records are not more specific as to the circumstance leading to my triple bypass surgery as I would have liked for the doctor to be able to have had time to thoroughly review my history beginning with the heart scans and circumstances leading to the scans and subsequent surgery. Since I have had a very good to excellent overall health history with no cardiac symptoms and would not have known that I had severe blockages without the calcium heart scans (only suggested by my GP due to cholesterol history but not due to any specific symptoms), and even though I am doing very well, I am not totally comfortable with just seeing how presenting symptoms can adequately determine my cardiac status in the future. Unless there are significant radiation exposure and/or other risks in having scans in 5 to 10 years, I believe they might be warranted. Overall, however, I am very satisfied with Dr. Albuquerque.

I have been with Holy Cross for nearly 30 years. This was the first time I needed to see a cardiologist. My primary gave me a few leads and my decision was to be attended by Dr. Albuquerque for my upcoming release for surgery. I made a good decision and will give him any leads and recommendations I may be able to offer.
