From the moment I entered Kirklin, I was treated with kindness and efforts to make my appointment as easy as possible. All of the staff were very efficient. Ann in mammogram made a very unpleasant time almost delightful because she was patient, thoughtful, humurous and very kind . She is a jewel. Felicia Royston is truly one in a million . She makes her patients feel like they are important and that she personally is concerned about their care . I see her once a year and I feel like I have known her forever . UAB is blessed to have her . Thank you UAB for having such caring professionals 🏆❤️

Felicia Royster is the best. She was thoughtful, thorough, and gave me confidence throughout the whole process. I walked away feeling like I had all the knowledge I needed to make a decision on a plan for monitoring my breast health and someone I could ask if I had questions. She took the time to explain the research and the "why" behind the recommendations and walked me through the pros and cons of different approaches. I feel like she really met me where I was in terms of what I knew and understood and ensured I could make the most informed decision possible. She also put me at ease and was enjoyable to talk to.

Everyone I came in contact with was incredibly kind. The techs, nurses, radiologists, and NP all took time to explain everything and answer my questions to put me at ease as much as possible. They were all very knowledgeable and compassionate.

There was very little wait time before I was called for my appointment. My physician was very attentive and answered all of my questions. I was encouraged to ask as many questions as came to mind.

Felicia, the nurse I saw was super helpful and broke everything down in a way I could understand. After explaining what was going on we made a solid care plan so there's no guessing or confusion on my end. She also sent the referrals out right away. She was incredible!
