I have waited to go to Neurology again after my last experience with a different office and was nervous. After leaving yesterday I’m not nervous, I’m hopeful I’m going to get better! He had answered so many questions that we had but I didn’t have to ask because he took the time to care about me and educate that the answers were there already. I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with the time he took, the empathy he gave, and the reassurance he wants to help me get better. I was not just a number to him I was someone he wants to heal and help get back to a normal life. He didn’t look at me strange for wanting to try to heal myself at the beginning with exercise and diet changes and no medications. He was understanding and acknowledged my concerns and praised me for knowing I need them and my willingness to try them. I know it sounds cliché, because it’s a drs office, but it felt like it was a healing environment and he wants to help me get back to my “normal” life. He’s positive on the new course yet has a solid backpack plan. I just feel like even if this first round of treatment fails I’m okay because he’s so positive. A weeks ago that would have scared me to think of a failed treatment but he was so knowledgeable after one meeting with him I have a lot of faith and hope that I will be okay. I’m so glad I switched to this office and I’m so glad that I was able to get on his schedule! He is wonderful!

If I could give him a +10I would. His staff is excellent top.My only problem was getting an appointment when ineeded one within a few days instead of 3 weeks. However he told me what to say on the future so that doesn’t happen again

When I asked my primary care physician, Dr. Kiper for a referral to a neurologist, I was beyond blessed to get Dr. Farooq as my Neurologist because he is truly a caring and amazing Neurologist that truly cares about his patients.

He said he did not have access to my chart so he couldn’t view that I already had an mri done or blood tests but everyone has access including me so that’s hard to believe, very upset that I went there for no reason

Dr. Farooq is an amazing neurologist and Doctor Who has amazing doctor patient skills. You can tell that doctor Farooq truly cares about you as a patient and truly wants the best for you as he does all of his patients and nobody would be able to convince me otherwise I would recommend him 100 out of 100 to anybody that I know that needs to see a neurologist the staff along with doctor Farooq have that amazing and caring and patience and more than willing to go the extra mile to help me in my care, even though it is a very complex situation and I am more than grateful to the staff and office then I can’t even explain

My mom was fitted with a Holter monitor when she left the hospital after a stroke. She wore it while in SAR and it was determined that there was no atrial fibrillation that caused the stroke. This Dr. Farooq is recommending my mother who is 84 lbs, living in memory care, with other comorbidities to get a heart monitor surgically installed. There seems to be a breakdown in communication with other providers and test results at Trinity.
