Under my care it was scary for me because it was an experience I had never been thru and the drs from spectrum weren’t listening to me but Dr Dr farooq took very good care of me

Dr Farooq was very pleasant and kind. He listened to my concerns and offered feedback. However when I complained about my eyesight still giving me troubles he asked if II had seen an eye doctor, not remembering this has been an ongoing issue and he had already sent me for further testing. He did state he would review those scans again. I know He sees a lot of patients, so I do Not fault him for that. Also I was in for a procedure, not an evaluation. After having a reaction with my nerve block last time, he gave me plenty of time to rest afterwards and continued to check in on me.

The provider was very kind and gentle and explain things in a way that I could understand with the TBI and I had a service animal, and he was very kind about me having my service animal as well.

He truly listened and ensure our communication was clear and complete. Had no problem with our request that our daughter (a surgeon in another state) join in our discussion via telephone. All of us felt really good about this, the best I've felt since my March 6 Er visit and subsequent referrals in Kalamazoo. Like a weight is off my shoulders. I may prefer to be in a medically different situation for myself but Dr. Farooq makes me feel like I have a great member on my health team and I have confidence in where we are going.

Suffice it to say, I was very, very satisfied with my experience. Jokingly, I left him with a "I hope to never you him again!" rejoinder only because I'd be hospitalized for a second lacunar infarct. One's enough!
