I went to see the doctor for my annual (female) exam. I felt like this appointment was rushed and wasn't even able to ask the doctor all the questions I had. This was very unusual because I have seen this doctor for approximately 3 years, and had two outpatient procedures done by him. In conversation the doctor mentioned a medication I could start taking to ease my symptoms. I have been on this medication for about a year and a half already, a medication he prescribed for me. I feel as if the doctor didn't even look over my records before he came in the room to see me. I am extremely disappointed by the care, or lack thereof, that I received at this appointment. And the care was totally out of line with the care I've received from this doctor in the past.

Dr. Bashour was very knowledgeable and polite. I'm considering changing to him for my yearly GYN appointments.

This was my first time to this doctor since my gyn had been transferred. I was told by this provider (gyn) that I could just have my primary care doctor do my breast exam and internal exam. He did not seem to care about my overall health even though my conditions impact all of my body. I was very disappointed in the indifference and got the feeling that I was just a number, get me in and out. He made me feel like I was wasting his time for a routine exam. I came out of the exam feeling resentful, put off and although the exam was adequate, I felt cheated in the relationship between Doctor/patient. I will be looking elsewhere for a gynecologist.
