Although my two hip replacements were done by another surgeon, I came to Erin for help in my recovery because I was so impressed with how well she helped my husband after his hip replacement. Her knowledge and skills are remarkable, and she obviously really cares about her patients.

Very knowledgeable and gave us a wealth of information, letting us know what to expect before, during and after our surgeries. Answering questions from the group as they arose deliberately and decisively. You could feel her passion for her work on the surgical team.

The presentation she gave was very informative. Though much of the information she spoke about, was given by another presenter before her, Erin spoke in a manner-that helped me understand better. For example;
1-She did not talk to fast, 2-Both the beginning and ending sounds of her words were clearly heard, 3-She gave pictorial examples (using her body) to help us understand the importance of what she was saying, 4-she used respectful speech when emphasizing factors previous patients may have done incorrectly-which may have harmed or hindered the progression of their healing.
The shared how passionate she was about her profession, which stood taller than her profession, which is a language many professions miss. And lastly, she charmed the fear some had while sitting in that cold room. Listening to her translated into a different place. It was as if we were sitting at the same table, across from each other, w/ me drinking hot chocolate-as if it was coffee, like old friends! That erased the few times dozing a bit…for staying up all night-meeting 6AM, & napping before being picked up for the joint class.
So…yes….if she’s that good as a medical presenter…how much more does her caring heart transfer into the surgical room, w/ patients. For someone who recently began w/ Piedmont, she along w/ Dr G, & NP-Fresca….they are enough to shout about!!
