Dr. Walsh is a fabulous specialist in the ENT department. So very glad she is trying to correct my ear problem. She's very worth the drive from [ ] for appointments.

I left an appointment with my daughter with very little help to solve her hearing loss. I decided to go back to her original ENT that my daughter feels cares about her more. After waiting over 5 months for an appointment, it was disappointing

My wife and I had this conversation on our way home from my appointment: she is currently undergoing cataract surgeries and check ups at a medical facility in a different town. I have been with her for most of this. We talked about the differences of what she is experiencing there and what we experience when we are at Kirkland at UAB. From top to bottom in terms of personnel, the difference is night and day. At Kirkland, From the receptionists to Dr. Walsh and her staff, you can tell that they are genuinely glad to see you and want to help and provide solutions. I might be looking at surgery that I could get much closer to where we live, but my wife and I both think it would be well worth the drive to Birmingham to continue to receive the kind of care we have over these last couple of months. As one of my students once said to me in a faculty evaluation..."Keep on doing what you're doing!"

It’s like being a baby in the arms of your mother that you know is going to take care of you that’s how I feel when I’m there in the audiology clinic, Dr. Welch and the team I love them all I look forward to seeing them every year and I leave with good news.
