Like I said in my last survey, I’m sure tons of patients LOVE him as their doctor. He GENUINELY cares about us. Even with trash insurance. He does NOT treat us differently. I feel seen, cared for, and heard. One of a kind doctor. That’s for sure!

Very caring, personable doctor that cares about his patients! One time I completely missed my appointment and was freaking out I called the office, they were so nice and said it was ok to come now(at that time) I was so happy, but also felt panicked and in a rush not even 5 min later my phone rang, it was Dr. Istre’s secretary calling to tell me he wanted to tell me to take my time and come whenever so I don’t rush and get into an accident! Just knowing that made me feel so calm so I could actually concentrate and get there in a timely manner safely!

I genuinely believe he deserves MORE recognition for the amount of love and care he gives to us patients whose world fell apart. He cares about his patients and loves his job. He makes sure patients understand their diagnosis, gives resources for help, AND does everything he possibly can to make sure we are okay physically, mentally, and emotionally. I wouldn’t be okay if Dr. Istre didn’t take me as a patient. Great man and I’m very grateful and thankful for his services and knowledge.

Dr. Istre is great. His wit is a nice change from pushy doctors. He listens and doesn’t get angry when I don’t want to follow his advice. He’s patient and just waits for me to decide he knows what he’s talking about and maybe I should listen. I appreciate that. He also talks to me like a person, not a patient, which makes me trust him more.

I am grateful for his kind presence and how he listens to me describe my life -- as my med provider, he answers questiosn and listens skillfully not just to the words but what I might describe...noticing any clues to understand how the medications are managing symptoms to ensure a good quality of life for me. He's also a great guide and teacher about how the meds work -- I always learn something very helpful during the appt.

Dr. Istre has, along with Dr. Francis, been able to get me back on track with his knowledge and compassion. I can't say enough about Dr. Istre and the center they have been a savior to me in getting myself back on track as I had been struggling for over a year with testing and no diagnosis. I am very happy that I stumbled upon them.
