He is the best cardiologist I could ever hope for he is on the cutting edge of cardiology! I almost laughed when he said I was in much better shape than when he first saw me. Since starting with Dr Avelar, he has sent me for by pass surgery tgat went great. I did get a post operative ileus that damn near killed me. ( seriously although tgey kept me pretty drugged up I recall some medical personnel use tge words regarding the ileus that it was life threatening, all I knew was the heart surgery was a piece of cake but I have never suffered so much as with the ileus. What I found funny was my aortic stenosis had moved from mild to moderate, got bradycardia requiring a pace maker, and what they call dual diastolic heart failure. To my simple mind in what world is that better since I had only been scented when I first saw Dr Avelar!However I feel great and have no angina , do not get out of breath, so maybe despite all the treatments InAM in better shape. It just struck me as funny. I want to give credit to Fernando who keeps me posted if any issue is detected and to Brian who monitors the pace maker.At some point I might have to ask Dr Avelar to write a letter to the GA DCA that emotional distress can exacerbate both the Bradycardia and the Afib. That has to do with an issue with the GA DCA regarding a program I was denied. The grant came from the Dept of Treasury and a part of the terms of the Grant state that ALL GRANTEES MUST FOLLOW ALL GUIDANCE FROM TREASURY. THE DCA has followed none of the guidance. They simply are not in compliance with the Grant , ERA2. I won’t bother you with the details but I have been under extreme emotional distress since I was wrongfully denied the ERA2 grant. Not getting that grant has ruined my already precarious financial situation. They are claiming I did not submit all the required documentation. I did but by email to my processor who told me he could not accept emailed documents , that all documents MUST go through the “ PORTAL” despite the word portal not existing on any DCA website. I had staffers from the Governor and my Congressman try to help but the all were given the same answer, I was denied for lack of documentation. I have a pro bono attorney, but I think I might do better presenting my case myself. I will have tge Attorney submit any documents demonstration the noncompliance. I don’t know where to get the blue covers that appear when legal papers are filed. My therapist has several diagnoses that qualify me for the ADA considerations. But tge DCA and DFacs bothe pay no attention to any federal rules or regulations. It will take e a while to build the case but having my doctors verify tge effect on a number of heart issues will play a big part in how I file tge suit and document my filing. I have been fighting this thing since 2022. I am not a quitter, I will fight this to my last breath. I do not lie cheat or steal and I do not tolerate those who do…especially to or about me.Sorry for the long message, the bottom line is tge ENTIRE Staff at O’conee heart and vascular is to be congratulated and have taken very good care of me.

I feel that Dr. Avelar is a very intelligent man ( I feel very lucky to have him as a Doctor) He also treats you with respect. He speaks so that you can understand what he is talking about and he also ask if you have any questions or is there anything you didn’t understand.
