The staff were great! I am pregnant for the first time and have a lot of anxiety because it took 8 years to get pregnant. They were very reassuring and understanding. They made sure baby was doing well. I am very appreciative of them.

My only complaint would be the wait time to be seen. Not sure why it took as long as it did, perhaps you have a small staff. That would be the one area of improvement that I'd suggest.

Of course I wanna give kudos to the staff during this time. Of course the staff are under high-pressure and changes with many time changes and added regulations to how they are managing things under how they have to practice their care recently. They are doing g exceptionally well with how they have to manage their changes on their end. I just wanna give kudos to that with the communities uproar, it is not unnoticed. You guys are doing the work that’s needed regardless of everyone continually scrutinizing and screaming.

During an extremely critical and stressful time, the professionalism, skill, and compassion demonstrated by your staff made a profound difference in my experience. I would particularly like to commend the following individuals. 1.The triage staff provided immediate, reassuring, and seamless assistance from the moment I arrived. 2. On entering the ER department I almost stepped in , vomit apparently, from a patient ahead of me. Perhaps a cleanup crew could’ve been called sooner and the area to the entrance have better lighting.

Kyle and Hailey were excellent to deal with, despite all the discourse that is happening within the hospital staff and administration itself. The individual who ran the CT on me was also kind, respectful, and informative about the process though I do not remember his name. They were all friendly, in great moods, and kept me updated on any wait times for testing and results.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
The wait times were tiring but understandable due to the time of night. I did, however, receive my CT results via MyChart approximately 20 minutes before they were addressed in the room with me. The abnormalities that were found were not brought up, but they also did not seem concerned about my results as they did not point to any issues in connection to the reason for my visit.

During my stay in the emergency room, all nurses, respiratory guy, and ekg guy were awesome. I was treated very well and with a caring attitude.

Not putting my mom in the waiting room after coming in on the ambulance. And waiting almost half an hour in the waiting room after coming in on a gurney being transferred to a wheelchair to wait. And the tech that brought us back had very poor behaviors, I expressed how upset I was about the situations and she said “she doesn’t know anything about it” then proceeds to go out of the room saying “I got my ass chewed” where I could hear her. Then when I told the dr she goes “Excuse Me” and then the dr apologized for her behaviors even know it should have been her.

The staff attending was efficient and professional. The service was quick and done well. Everyone treated us with care. We are so pleased with his treatment.

Make the reading of CT scans quicker for reporting results. It was a Saturday so we did expect some, but it took 3 hours.

My nurse, David, was very thoughtful and reassuring—even sharing his own experience with a similar situation. He provided great care—even got my wife a coffee so she didn’t have to hunt for one. He really went above and beyond. I really appreciated his professionalism and care!

My experience in the ER was absolutely exceptional. I broke my collarbone out in the woods. Hit a tree, slid on my back with a 883 pound 4 wheeler on top of me. That experience was very special I would say. Dr Gluck, Ashley (RN), Allison (Ally), the entire staff, Lab, CT, Coryell, everyone. It was a crazy and I’m sure I forgot some of the others who attended to me. Thank You so much for the excellent care provided. It was only a collarbone but I feel they covered all aspects of checking and testing for any internal injuries and stuff. Thank You MyMichigan Staff for the excellent care provided. [NAME]

I was dehydrated when I left the emergency room. No IV was provided during my first visit and no answers about my knee or anything. I was simply told to take Tylenol and advil for pain. I went home with the same symptoms of pain and lack of mobility and slept. had to return to the emergency room the next day because of dangerous dehydration.

Answers. Helpful answers. Medication for pain. Instructions for recovery. Explanation of why I'm experiencing such an extreme amount of increased difficulty with my mobility.
