What could have been done to improve your experience?
I didn’t appreciate having a trainee doing my blood draw. While I never have trouble with lab work, they had quite a bit of difficulty finding the right vein and then could not get blood flowing so they had to start over with another vein. Then they came back to set up an IV port in yet another place. Each poke was quite painful. Normally I don’t mind lab work at all - no pain. This was klutzy and heavy handed. The technicians were very kind, though, and went out of their way to make me comfortable and help me rewrap my surgical bandage,

We have been here for a total 3 hours; a lot of waiting without much indication as to why. We felt like they forgot we were here many times. Checking in more regularly or discharging us sooner would have improved our experience

I choose to ONLY come here for emergency care for my kids and myself. I always feel heard, and respected. Check in and being seen is always a reasonable amount of time. This is also the cleanest hospital I have been too.
