Staff was very compassionate and empathetic while being very professional in their services. We appreciated the kindness everyone demonstrated which allowed us to be relaxed as much as possible considering the circumstances.

The staff was extremely respectful. Took the time to explain everything that was being done and why. They were very careful to not cause any further pain to my broken leg. Very professional, bedside manner was professional…could give a kind smile..it can go a long way. When a patient is very concerned about a blood clot. I have insufficient Venus supply, with blood pooling, and leaky valves. But wasn’t interested in my medical history.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Not much other than to not make one feel foolish for being concerned about my preexisting conditions. However, the staff had a very efficient and effective way of not allowing the patient (myself) to elaborate my concerns. I call it the Yeah yeah talk. And it’s disappointing but it’s very much a thing that many ER staffers are extremely well trained in shutting down what they consider unnecessary medical history.
