What could have been done to improve your experience?
We were told that the hospital will not accept my child’s out of state Medicaid and refuses to do so because it is the hospital’s choice. My child’s Medicaid DOES PAY FOR OUT OF STATE ER VISITS, it just needs to be filed like any other insurance would. It is unacceptable to discriminate for Medicaid or out of state patients. Simply file the bill with the insurance.
