The student doctor and doctor were very cold and had no sense of compassion for my pain I was going through.They both stood far away as they talked to me.I had been there a week before and was told I had a certain type of sciatica and they were excellent,I noticed the difference between the two visits.I returned the second time after returning to work.becsuse I can't get in to see my PCP till [DATE].This doctor wrote I didn't have sciatica,which is untrue.My PCP knows I do and so did the doctor the week before.The discharge nurse was great.She explained.She explained what I was experiencing to perfection.Then illustrated certain stretches I could do to help me until I can get in to see my PCP.In short the student and doctor could use another class in bedside manner.My bp was 162/90 and that was never addressed or discussed and only taken once.Not giving names but, I was admitted at 11:25 am in room [ ] on [DATE].
What could have been done to improve your experience?
The attending student and doctor I had that day could have show more compassion and concern.Who wants to be sick or in pain? I sure don't.I am not speaking on every doctor there..just that one and the student that day.Every thing else was EXCELLENT..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

The nurses and lab staff were very amazing and patient with my daughter despite her being very upset. Doctor was very thorough and answered all questions I had openly and honestly. Overall the staff was exceptional and attentive. I would 100% recommend this ER to family and friends if needed.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
The only thing that slightly concerned me was the level of cleanliness of the ER room floors. It was evident that they were not cleaned to the best standards.

My Daughters is a [OCCUPATION] and she has told me when being treated at a health care facility check for cleanliness. This Medical facility was spotless. The Receptionist was friendly and thoughtful. My Nurse Tiffany was Incredible to say the least. She is everything a Nurse should be. I give her a (10) Rating. Dr Johnson was Very thorough and informative. I can’t thank them enough for my care.

No....The Dr on staff was very rude and disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Needs to go bad to school and get a better education on bed side manners. I understand getting busy and most patients are jerks and disrespectful. But she doesn't have to be rude to other patients that come in with complete pain. Do better. I expect this nonsense out of [ ]. But not my Michigan

Get staff that have better bed side manners. If they can't handle the heat of getting busy then get a new job.

The lack of compassion, communication, and explanation during my visit was disheartening. I normally go to [ ], but their emergency room was packed, so I came here instead. The woman taking my vitals was the worst part of the experience. She barely looked at me, spoke in a cold manner, and showed no empathy or concern. She instructed me to place my urine sample in a bag and give it to the front desk. When I followed those instructions, the front-desk employee acted visibly disgusted that I handed it to her. As a patient who was already sick, in pain, and vulnerable, both interactions made an already difficult situation feel even worse. The doctor appeared to be working alone and was clearly overworked, but he and the nurse were both kind and helpful. I ultimately left with my medical needs met, and I appreciate the care they provided. However, the lack of communication and compassion from the other staff was extremely disappointing. Patients deserve to be treated with respect.

My emergency room visit was Excellent care provided for me. Unfortunately, I fell at home which brought me to the hospital. I was in and out as quick as could be from the emergency room.. I was really reluctant to go in in the first place because of the normal amount of time you have to spend an emergency rooms, waiting rooms.. I’m not referring to one in particular. It was a Saturday and I can honestly say I walked in The emergency room In pain But I walked out of the emergency room Still in pain, but not as bad and very happy that it took such a short brief time in there and I was able to go home.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing I can think of! Excellent job by all I am very happy with the quality of staff and care I received. Thank you to the staff of my Michigan for making my experience a great one!

The care I received from admissions until discharge was fantastic! Everyone was very friendly, courteous, and professional. My nurse Melissa was Amazing, she deserves a raise! Especially after all my U of M jokes. We had a good time considering being in the ER. Would definitely recommend this facility for care!

The was not really considered i don't know if it was so packed that night it took 3 to 4 hours and took about 10 to 15 minutes to see me she ask me what was im there for my Xrays show nothing so she told me to see my doctor she really couldn't tell me anything no blood work nothing so I wasn't satisfied at all.

She atlease could have taken blood work my foot was so swollen.

I went to covenant twice, they didn't get me any relief. Dr Kaitlyn small was VERY compassionate and caring and helped me get relief when I was sobbing in pain.

The Staff there is Friendly, Efficient, and Good at Explaining . I am NOT Scared there as I am at other places!!! They are WONDERFUL at their jobs! 😊🤗 Also I love that they take care of me within 20 min. of getting there. (Last time, years ago, at the main hospital , it took 4 HOURS and they hadn’t seen me , so I got up & left for Towne Centre. Now I ALWAYS CHOOSE to go to TOWNE CENTRE!!! 😊🤗❤️❤️ I have Soooooooooo Much MORE CONFIDENCE in them!!! 😊❤️❤️🤗
