The nursing team were so efficient and friendly. Never felt like a burden, they were smiling and explaining everything along the way! They make this ED an excellent visit!

Waited almost 2 hours for a provider. Nurse only checked on us 2 times during the 8 hours we were here. Radiologist wait time needs to be improved as that would cut down er time tremendously. Otherwise they did listen to us to help us rule out major problems

Outstanding professional care by nurse Courtney and NP Garrett Mead. Timely response coupled with patient, caring explanations of condition allowed exceptional patient comfort during ER visit. Thank you for making this a positive experience and one of the best ERs stays I have ever been to!

I’ve been to the emergency room several times and had a very good experience the only issue is waiting time. Maybe do some research on hospitals that have quicker patient service. Other than that all the staff in the emergency room do a excellent job taking care of patients..

If they could find a way to speed up the wait time in the lobby before patients go back to be seen..

I probably shouldn’t use the term “wonderful experience” because mo one ever wants to go to ER. But every single person that I came into contact with was so professional, kind & friendly. I knew I was in competent hands and I’m so thankful Alpena has such a skilled hospital.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
I can’t think of one thing other than maybe to make the rooms a bit warmer.

I felt judged by the doctor and that when I tried to describe all my pain in my other leg and arms I got questioned on why like I was making it up.

All were very professional and accommodating. Dr Miltz explained everything very well to make us comfortable in his decisions. Nurse Courtney was professional but kind and caring to make us relaxed and comfortable.

Nurse was friendly, Dr super skeptical for someone that hasn’t looked at my chart. Lots of aggressive combative narrative to no end. I need an X-ray an MRI and a referral to ortho. I don’t expect skepticism to assist in my path to recovery. Thanks
