I feel like the doctor didn't listen. I feel like he just kind of like looked at my records and like didn't give me no decisions, like no help, no. It was like just cold. And I don't think I will return. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Emeka J Acholonu was the worst doctor I've ever encountered. He did not listen to me about my concerns, he berated me, and gave erroneous information to me about my own health records. His stance from the beginning of the visit was that he was not going to give me a prescription for a GLP-1 and when I questioned him about it he became irate. In my after-visit summary he claimed he counseled me on various weight loss methods such as diet and exercise but I left abruptly so there is no way I would have listened to one word he had to say. He made it seem as though I'm unaware of my own health with gaslighting and talking down to me as if I'm stupid. I was so overwhelmed and ashamed after the visit I sat in the parking lot for about 15 minutes crying. I will reach out to Virtua for an explanation on how someone with such horrible communication skills is allowed to practice with such a delicate population as obese patients.

The prescribed GLP-1 med Zepbound was denied by my insurance company, AmeriHealth. However, Wegovy is approved by them. When I called your office about this, I was told that a denial letter had to come from my insurance company for the Zepbound first, before a new prescription for Wegovy could be sent to my pharmacy. Because I am an H.R. and benefits manager, I have direct access to our group account manager and was able to obtain the denial letter today, the same day I requested it. This should expedite the prescription for Wegovy, which they will approve. It would've been very helpful to know which GLP-1 meds your office will recommend to patients in advance so that we are able to find out which ones are covered by our insurance companies prior to coming in. AmeriHealth is able to tell me which ones are covered and what the cost would be for each. This would save days or weeks while waiting for a denial and then the submission of an alternative GLP-1 med.

I just wanted to give my feedback on my experience was the most greatest experience that I've had from any other doctor's office from the first beginning and the staff and the doctors are so on point with my health problems and listen to my reasons why things are happening to me. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This is the only place I feel comfortable going to from every doctor's office that I visit. This is the most amazing, outstanding office ever. Thank you for your service.

The nurse who took my blood pressure and weight and height did not bother to look at the supplement i showed her thst I was going to discuss with the doctor. The doctor took a short time with me and said that it was "environmental" cause of me gaining weight.

Office staff is rude and not very helpful. You're given limited options for appointments and they treat you like you're a burden.

My experience at this location was awesome but why do I have to travel 2 hours round trip & forced to use PTO b/c there are no early a.m. or evening hours in the office at Willingboro Nj? If my weightloss provider I trust with my journey in Washington Township. That's BS right there.

A doctor made me feel very welcome and showed a lot of respect, was very professional, and knew a plan how to help me with my weight loss. So the doctor definitely gives five stars or two thumbs up. So I definitely would recommend him.

This was the third time that I saw this provider. He doesn't seem to have any recollection of previous conversations. I asked a question about what types of exercise programs he might recommend and he basically said, well, some people like to walk outside and some people like to go to the gym. So he basically didn't answer my question. Considering that I was seeing him for weight management, I would think a more comprehensive approach was appropriate. I need my medications through this program, but I would like to discuss seeing a different doctor moving forward. Thank you.

I felt like I was discarded and not heard. The doctor came in and immediately just started talking about the injections and then surgery. It felt like he was pushing surgery and I don't feel like I'm there yet. There were no options other than surgery if my insurance didn't cover the injections. I will not be going back it was very hard for me to get the courage to go to the doctor and ask for help. I left feeling defeated and frustrated.

The reminders for appts are terrible. A city in the reminders would be very helpful as I have now twice went to the wrong Virtua appt. A city would have kept this from ever happening again. Incredibly frustrating.

Every time I have my appointment, the entire staff and especially the Dr. Emeka Acholonu, they treat me with highest respect, professionalism. They're friendly. I can't wait for my next appointment. I see them every three months, and I highly recommend this office to family and friends.

The Dr.was in a rush. We didn't discuss the results of the special scale. He only wanted to consider one medication.... I left feeling unhappy that's for sure.

Overall I'd give Dr. A and his entire office an A+. They're very attentive, very knowledgeable, they are all super friendly. Most importantly Dr A is very passionate about his work and his patients. He makes sure to let his patients know that he's rooting for you to succeed and I love that. I will recommend this office to anyone without a doubt.

My visit with the doctor was very pleasant. He was knowledgeable and we discussed the right plan for me, the plan which he thought was best for me and the steps that I needed to take to do what needs to be done. I was very thankful to be there with him and I look forward to working with him.

They forgot me and I sat there for a long time because there was somebody new on the desk. The receptionist was a doll. She was fabulous. That's the only person I can say that was really went out of her way. She is the greatest.

I went in with zero knowledge on how this would work. I came out. I don't know that I felt totally qualified to start the program. I had to ask questions of people during the scheduling process because I wasn't sure what had happened and where it was. So I felt a little like I was, I don't know, a little bit A little bit less listened to than I should have been or I needed more information. Maybe my age does it. I don't know, but that's how I felt. Thank you.

Very professional and courteous from the time you walk in the door. And once they take you back to a room, they make me feel like family, remember little things that may not seem important,but makes you feel good that they remembered. You're not just a patient, you're a friend as well. At least thats how I feel at my appointment.

I thought there would be more questions about how I have managed my weight in the past. And I thought more options would be presented to me. I was also lead to believe that preauthorization approvals were not and issue but apparently they are an issue.
