My only concern is that in the past it's been hard to get Dr. Hewitt when needed.

I was referred to Dr Hewitt after a surgery with complicated recovery. She is a great first contact person for patient care. She has been able to reduce the number of appointments needed to maintain stable health. I feel confident I am getting the highest level of quality care. Dr Hewitt is compassionate and empathetic. Appointments are scheduled nicely spaced thus avoiding an in office delay and same day appointments can be made. She actively listens to your concerns and answers questions to be sure the patient is clearly understanding follow up care. Lab on site is convenient.

Dr Hewitt is an excellent doctor that I trust with my life! She has helped me get healthy at at 67. I have got off Metformin that I have been on for years! I’m down 60 lbs and my A1C is down to 5.3.She listens to me and always gives me peace of mind when it comes to my health.

My urgent condition was met with concern and empathy. Extra time was taken to select medication that would not upset my current medication list. Lab work was ordered to be sure a complete understanding of needed treatment was reached.
