Dr Ellena is the best. Have known Dr Ellena professionally for a long time. He has always been there for me both for regular well checkups & emergency situations. So appreciate he come every day while I have been hospitalized. He is the best.

If you had a category beyond ‘Excellent’ I would use it for Dr Ellena. Not only is he everything above…..but also excellent at explaining my conditions in a very caring and non-condescending attitude when I have done my own (incorrect) investigation about something bothering me. When I tell him I don’t feel good; he cares!! To me; that is the most important qualification in a Dr.

Yes, while out of state attending a family funeral became very ill and called Dr Ellena. He responded immediately and diagnosed the condition prescribing a treatment plan. When the condition didn’t improve as hoped he continued to monitor me prescribing additional medications which were helpful. Once back home he scheduled an appointment for further follow up and prescribed an additional medication. Dr Ellena, my internist for 30+ yrs, has always been there for me, simply put he is my “go-to” any time I experience a medical issue!

The entire staff is excellent. Always friendly and eager to help. Dr Ellena has been ou= dr since moving to St. Louis almost 30 years ago. He is an excellent dr. Never any problems.
