I've been going to UAB Derm to see Elizabeth and have several basal cells removed. I got my husband to see Elizabeth and she did a biopsy. I'm very happy with UAB Derm, would recommend them to anyone. Wonderful people!

Dr. Lewis was so very kind, and her assistant was also very kind. Wendy who brought me back was also very kind and caring. I love going to the UAB Leeds Clinic when I have to go see a Doctor. I used to take my husband there to see Dr. [ ], and get blood work. Dr. [ ] loved my husband, and the girls in the lab were so very kind to him.

I had a terrible experience when scheduling my appointment with Whitaker Dermatology. As a UAB employee I was surprised at how rude/abrasive the staff member I spoke to on the phone was. She did not exude UAB core values and I would not recommend someone to come back based upon this experience. I chose not to make a follow up appointment because of my interaction with her in the phone. I had a positive experience with the RN and NP, and would use them as providers, yet due to the call center/scheduling staff I will not be returning. I have worked at UAB for 13 years and it was disappointing to see what our community and fellow colleagues are experiencing when trying to obtain medical care/compassion.

I was referred to the dermatologist by the UAB podiatrist I had seen in the Spring. A specific diagnosis for removal of an irritated sweat gland deep within my foot was ignored by the attending dermatologist. I continue to suffer irritation.
