Dr. Cody was very helpful with providing all the options available for my treatment. She explained percentages of risks and benefits and her confidence made me feel more comfortable with making future decisions regarding surgery. I appreciated her kind manner and relatability, and I felt so relieved after our visit.

Dr. Cody is a highly skilled surgeon and I feel extremely fortunate to be in her care. I also like her personally. I do feel that she could have been more positive and encouraging about my progress at 6 months, which given the severity of my injuries, I do not think is "slow" (compared to what/whom?). I believe she wants to ensure that I keep progressing forward, which I know that I am. She may have been reading a slightly discouraged mood from me, as progress is not a straight line each day. But empathy and a few encouraging words are usually more motivating. I want to feel that her feedback is more about me than her skill and results as a surgeon.

HSS and in-particular Dr. Elizabeth Cody’s practice is a great experience- and truly such knowledgeable staff supporting Dr. Cody- I really appreciated the diagnostic /evaluation as recommended next steps for my flat-foot condition.

Dr. Cody was excellent with her care, listening skills, advice and knowledge. I trust her completely with the plan she decided on for me. I then saw Dr. Miller a few weeks later to carry out my procedure and he was also wonderful! All the nurses were friendly and thorough. I'm so happy I came to HSS!
