Provider was excellent. They also helped with an unrelated administrative issue (I located a spelling error on an HSS Form but could not locate whom to tell to get it amended)

Dr Athanasian is amazing! I recommend him to everyone. He explains his diagnosis in detail as well as recommendations for treatment. He is compassionate and very kind. He makes you feel as if you are part of his team in managing the problem and considers you as an individual and your comfort level of treatment.

Dr. Athanasian is outstanding in every way. I trust his judgement and approach. I have had many doctors, but don't necessarily trust or respect all of them. Dr. Athanasian is in a completely different category. He is top in his field. He loves what he does, and it shows. He cares about his patients and the outcome. I wish all of my doctors were that way.

I’m very happy that I was able to have my wrist surgery at HSS. They are true professionals, and thanks to them I have been steadily regaining the mobility of my hand. I still have some time ahead to fully recover with therapy and patience, but I’m confident that my recovery will be complete sooner than expected.

Dr. Athanasian is a great physician-but more importantly a great person. He gets it. He sat, listened, asked open ended questions, showed me the radiographic images, used plain language to explain his thoughts. His demeanor is one I wish I could clone for all the providers I work with professionally and personally. Thank you!

I am incredibly grateful for my surgeon's care and dedication. I had a very difficult diagnosis, and he personally called me at home to explain it. That level of compassion and respect meant more to me than I can express. He was thorough, persistent, and committed to getting the diagnosis right.

I could not have been more pleased with the entire process of becoming a patient of HSS. I initially reached out to another surgeon who was recommended through a friend and when he saw my charts he referred me to Dr. Athanasian who was "the person" for this job and that sentiment was echoed by all whom I've encountered through the industry.
