Dr Ekerly is an excellent doctor. He actually does an exam. Doesn't just copy what the last doctor says. I have alot of docters that sit and do the charting on the PC and dont even come close to me. He also listens and is non judgmental. He is a great motivational speaker. I have several doctors.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing. Everyone in this office is excellent.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
Donna is an outstanding nurse and you can see she truly cares. She took her time with me and made sure all of my medical information was up to date for my exam time for Dr Eckerle.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
The office is so kind from front to the back. I can’t think of anything that can improve my experience here in the office.

All staff did fine job. Prompt, courtesy, answered questions, clear instructions, Ect. In addition Dr E. Was clear with test results, And not prone to excessive protocols that are not necessary.

Dr. Eckerle is always so compassionate and caring for me. Takes his time and wants to make sure we both understand the plan . His nurse is very caring. They are an asset to BJC health care team..

I have never met a Doctor who was as easy to understand as he was. I honestly believe that he understood completely what I said and how my problem was affecting me. I think he is probably the finest and most extraordinary Doctor I have ever met,
What could have been done to improve your experience?
I can’t think of anything short of his walking on water that would make him o better Doctor to improve my visit.

Yes: Dr. Eckerle is the best. Takes time to go over all issues, not a clock watcher !! Explains things in details, and disseminated so one understands. Dr. also explained that if I was having any issues to call the office right away. He is one of the best Dr’s I have ever had.. He really cares about his patients .. I wish more Dr’s had his finesse..
What could have been done to improve your experience?
Nothing more could have been better.. I walked out of his office knowing he was there for me.. Not just as a number or someone rushed out before the next patient.. I’m so happy he accepted me into his practice..

Dr. Eckerle is very sincere, caring, and explains things in "layman's terms"? I never feel rushed and he always answers my questions in a way that I understand!

The Dr. was informative, detailed, flexible, friendly, professional and courteous. My wife and were both impressed and he inspired confidence and made an impact on our ability to chart our plan. He was motivational regarding the importance of quitting smoking. He was awesome!

Dr. Eckerle is the type of physician every patient needs and deserves. He listens to you and you can tell he is truly concerned about you. Gives you the facts in a straight forward fashion you can understand.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
All of them are so nice but, Dr Eckerle is special to me. I have had a health issue for 3 yrs & have been sent from one dr to another to the point I almost gave up any hope. Dr Eckerle brought me out of my despair! He is the sweetest, kindest, caring Dr I have. I am so glad my PCP found him. He is also a wonderful listener & I’ve never felt rushed by him. I will refer him to anyone I run into that has a pulmonary problem. Thank you Dr Eckerle! God chose you for this profession for many good reasons!

I have been completely Blessed by Dr Eckerle coming into my life. He saved my life when other Dr's were writing me off. He has stood by me and we make decisions together. I can't say enough about him as a whole. He truly is a Dr that cares for his patients and it truly shows. Now the staff I can't say enough good things either. We are truly Blessed to have him and his team hear in Alton. I feel safe entering having them by my side. Thank you all so very much, One of your biggest fans!

Doctor Eckerly staff is always polite and caring from the time I arrived till the time I leave. They actually are concerned with my health status and Doctor Eckerly. He keeps it on a level that you can understand everything he says and what’s going to happen and what to do if it does happen. Doctor Eckerly and the staff are an asset to BJC Hospital
