Dr. Elkis is a very kind, caring and compassionate provider. Very well versed in her specialty and thorough. She listened to my concerns and addressed each one thoughtfully. I am sorry she will be leaving the practice!

Dr. Elkis is such an amazing Dr. She was kind and compassionate, she took her time to hear what I had going on and after a year of dealing with my symptoms she was able to diagnose me with what I have and get the right medication prescribed. The staff was so kind and very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Elkis

I saw Dr. Elkis as a new patient, having recently relocated to Frederik from Falls Church, VA. Dr. Elkis was very pleasant and patiently reviewed my patient history and copies of tests from other doctors that I provided. She spent an appropriate amount of time with me as a new patient and provided clarity of instructions for taking care of my health and concerns. Unfortunately, she said that she will be moving in a few months and I would be in the care of her replacement, Dr. Oshinsky.

Dr. Elkis was very pleasant. She listened to my concerns, looked at the reports that I had brought for her review, and did not rush through my appointment. I feel good about her approach to diagnose and begin treating my condition. Her explanation of the examination and her reason for the course of treatment helped me to feel confident in her recommendations.

Dr Ellis asked questions, listened to what I had to say and that meant a lot. The doctor also assisted me to remove my shoes to check my ankle and helped putting my shoe back on as I am limited due to arthritis.

The entire staff at ARA has been top notch. Dr. Elkis was absolutely incredible and for the first time in this long process of trying to get a diagnosis, I finally felt heard and valued as a patient and as a human being. I am so very grateful for such a kind and compassionate doctor to be part of my care team. She valued my feedback on her treatment plan going forward and it meant the world to me to have a doctor actually allow me to be part of the plan rather than just being told what to do. I highly recommend Dr. Elkis! She is a gem!

Intelligent, kind, and caring. Excellent clinical skills. Good listener and explains things well. I consider myself a reliable source as I am a physician myself with many years of experience, have worked as an attending at University Hospitals, and am involved in teaching and evaluating medical students and young doctors.
Dr. Elkis is up to date. The office is beautiful, efficient, and has labs and x-ray services on site making the visits pleasant and convenient.
