Dr. Mehta was kind and listened to all my concerns and came up with a good plan of action.

Hi. Our visits with Dr Mehta always go well, the only thing I would ask or suggest is if there is a medical emergency to have someone let the patients who are waiting know that there is an occurrence so they are able to decide in good time whether they would like to reschedule or stay and keep that appointment. I only ask this because I had an appointment scheduled after my daughter's and the set times were well enough where I would be able to take her to her appointment and still be able to keep my own but it came pretty close that day and we have to use medical transportation so we can't so easily rearrange appointments where I can just drive to it later and they won't accept setting it's rides to a later time in the same day. That particular day, medical transportation canceled my ride to my appointment because the ride *from* my daughter's appointment was still in progress. They canceled without calling me to find out my status and I had to fight to get that transportation arrangement put back into place that day. Medical transportation usually needs 3 days notice to be able to schedule transportation and I had this scheduled well ahead of time but because the times came close to overlapping they canceled my transportation and I had to really push to get that back in place. So basically we understand that things happen and that the doctor would do this for any of his patients, but I think a little more communication in instances of emergency would help, so that the patient's and parents who are waiting can have time to adjust their day accordingly versus just sitting there not knowing what's going on or how long. Just so we have the option to adjust as well.
