I'm an anesthesiologist that just retired. A couple of times I actually worked with Dr. Jurado. She was lovely to work with and clinically competent and good. A full discussion about mother's care was clinically appropriate. Risks and benefits of various options were discussed without prejudice or favor. Just sound thinking. She had genuine care and concern for my mother. And the appointment was productive. A plan was made for progress towards a diagnosis. My mother and I left feeling like there's hope, and not handed fools gold. Does that make sense?
