This was my first time visiting RGW. My experience was very positive. Check-in was easy, As a new patient, there was a lot of paperwork, so advise you to arrive 20 min early. The intake nurse did a quick vision check and administrated drops for dilation. After 15 minutes, a medical technician took me to the retinal scan rooms. Those scans were super quick. After I was finished, I only waited in an exam room for about 10 minutes to meet Dr. Sobol. He is has a patient/kind energy and walked me through my scans also using a plastic model of the eye to explain the parts of the eye vs what we viewed on the scans. We discussed a follow-up plan and then I was on my way home. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Sobol for your retinal examination needs.

Dr. Sobol is a Very professional and very patient doctor. He took time to listen to my concerns and explain every detail of my eye issues. He makes sure I understand the surgery procedures and the benefits of having it. I feel confident to have him to be my ophthalmologist.

Dr Sobol had performed a laser procedure to address a tear in my retina. He explained the procedure and follow up very thoroughly and addressed all of my questions and concerns. I have the highest regard for the care he provides.

As I was driving to work Monday morning , I have notice a round floater swimming around my left eye which really was caused for concern because 8 months ago I had a detached retina in my right eye. I was afraid that my retina detached in my left eye. Dr. Sobal had explaining to me how PVD occurred and recommendthat my left eye to be monitered for the next few weeks. I highly recommend Dr Sobal should you have retina health issues.

Everything went well. The shots in eyes didn't hurt, but the drops they put in eyes afterwards do sting.
