Dr. Dolejs was kind & understanding of our fears and hesitance in making a treatment decision. He listened to us, never rushed us, answered every single question-more than once and performed my Mom’s life saving procedure.

He has treated me so well and caring. He put my fears at ease and took time to personally call me after I went home after surgery. This made me feel so good that a surgeon would do this. This should be taught to other surgeons.

I really understood what he was telling me. He explained everything to me. He let me ask questions. He explained what he found out about what was causing my problems. He was very polite and nice.

He took his time and explained everything in a way that I could clearly understand. He answered any and all of my questions. He listened. It could have been an uncomfortable doctors appt (due to the nature of the visit) but he talked me through the process and made me feel comfortable and safe.

Dr. Dolejs listened (AND HEARD) me. He not only answered questions, he also provided me with a schematic of the colon and explained what a CT scan revealed. His demeanor made it comfortable for me to talk about medical matters that can sometimes feel pretty personal. I really liked him and I am confident he will give me excellent care.
