I am a relatively new patient to Dr. Bourgeois' practice. I am in my 60's and my previous doctor retired. I have to say I'm absolutely thrilled having picked this doctor as my PCP. He listens, he explains, he comes prepared, he develops a plan with you. I recently had a medical emergency which he helped me navigate. Highly highly recommend this doctor. I trust him!

When I explained why I needed to move my appointment, Ms. Stacey moved heaven and earth to get me in sooner. Considering my diagnosis, I’ll forever be grateful to her for the help and compassion she showed to me when I was panicked and confused.

Dr. Bourgeois didn't jump to any conclusions without listening to what I had to say, which was a lot. My impression is that we are on board together with how we will purse any new health concerns.
What could have been done to improve this visit?
It was the first visit. I don't think he could have done any more than he did since I wasn't there because I was sick but merely getting established with his practice.

The overall understanding of my situation and the knowledge of knowing what to do and explaining it so I can understand. Also treated me with respect and that big for me. The staff is very friendly

Dr. Bourgeois was amazing. From the moment he walked in, I could tell he truly cared. He listened to me, took my concerns seriously, and made me feel heard and understood. His compassion and kindness meant so much, and I left feeling supported and thankful.

The care and attentiveness has been exceptional. We will always advocate for anyone with loved ones having to go to a hospital to use Thibodaux General. Spent many years very unhappy at Terrebonne General. Would never go there for treatment again. Thibodaux is the BOMB. A very attentive staff. We even feel comfortable leaving our 90 year old dad overnight without one of his children. Never felt comfortable leaving a loved one at Terrebonne-in fact we never could leave one alone overnight. Thank you here at Thibodaux regional for making our dads hospital stay very comfortable. The care is A+

The staff, as well as Dr. Bourgeois, were friendly and made me feel relaxed. I was seen in a timely manner, which I appreciated. I was also very happy getting results from mammogram so quickly.

Dr Bourgeois and his staff were extremely courteous, polite, and caring. I felt at ease. This is one of the best doctor visits I have had.

Dr Bourgeois actually took the time to talk to me, answered questions, reviewed my history and gave me advice for improving my health. Great bedside manner!! I have already recommended him to many of my friends and relatives.

Dr. Devin B has been my pcp for many years and I believe he is the best Dr in the area...he listens and is willing to give the best advice..Dr Devin has helped save my life and im forever grateful for him and his team always getting me in and out when I need it most. I know if I need to see Dr Devin they will get me in within 48 hrs.

The length of time he spends with his patience is rare and needed. People need to feel like the person they’re seeing cares and listens to their problems.

Explaining change of medication and why was very easy for me to understand. Instructions for improving my Healthcare needs was very important for me to understand.
