Transitioning to a new doctor can be pretty stressful; after having the same doctor for years and having gelled perfectly, her leaving was unsettling for a minute. However, my visit with Derrick went quite smoothly. He made me feel like a human being. He took the time to discuss my personal health goals without rushing, shared a plan of action, and encouraged me to keep doing what I am doing. I left feeling confident that I am in good hands. When I called with concerns about my BP Mary readily suggested that I come in for a visit to look in to them. All the staff are friendly and pleasant. Derrick puts me at ease, explains clearly, and discusses rather than dismissing the issue.
