Considerable difficulties were encountered coordinating between the provider authorization staff, the insurance company, and the Renown Wound Care office. Hi, I was seeing a dermatologist for the past eight months with my problem and I was getting nowhere. It was getting worse and worse. I went to the wound care doctor and that very same day, the medicine that he put on the wound immediately stopped the itching and the hurting. And it's gotten better each day. And I really, really appreciate what he did for me. Thank you. Bye.

He was very thorough in knowing my condition. He's very caring. I made a mistake and I told him I didn't want the hospice care. He was telling me all the benefits of it. During the weekend, I rethought everything. I'm in pretty bad shape and I would like hospice care. I called and left a message for him. Thank you very much.

Folks at Wound Care are wonderful. The receptionists that bring you back, Grace and Anthea, are amazing. In the midst of all of those things that they deal with on a daily basis, they manage to be upbeat and friendly. The nurses have all been amazing. The care providers have been incredible. It's been a fun. I wish I wasn't there. I'm a frequent flyer. If I had to go anywhere, I'm glad I'm going there.

Dr. Faihai has established and runs an exceptional wound care. They have provided superior service in helping me recover from my operation. This is my second time and the service has improved over the past. Every employee is enthusiastic and enjoys their job. They take pride in providing the best care. This is a very high level of knowledge and skills that they have to deliver consistent care for my wound. The minute you walk in, you are greeted by the desk. They do a great job and they are very knowledgeable about the overall operation and experience in maintaining schedules for patients. The experience that I enjoyed on every visit was when I came in, I was greeted by grease or anesthesia. Both were very friendly and enthusiastic.

As I have never needed wound care previously, I didn't know what to expect. But my concerns were addressed respectfully, and before I left the office, I was confident regarding my prognosis, based on the current status of my wound. The staff was friendly and helpful too.

Dr. Frye is the best. He talks to you like you're a person. He's very knowledgeable. He's very helpful. He's understanding. Not to mention he's funny. Just an overall good guy.

If I had to rate my #1 department within Renown - it would be the Wound Care Clinic. The staff is the BEST from the time you walk into the clinic until you leave. ??

Dr. Freiheit has put extra effort in to help with my wound recovery. He has gone above and beyond to find items to help with my specific physical limitations. He has also taken the lead in coordinating with my other caregivers to ensure my recovery is supported from all angles. He obviously cares about his patients and goes the extra mile to provide exceptional care.

I think Dr. Freiheit was an awesome doctor, and I think he did a great job, and he kept me very informed, and I would recommend him to anybody that needs wound care, and I cannot wait for my appointments with him every time I get to see him. He's a great doctor and that's all I have to say about him. He's an awesome dude. You're a good doctor, Dr. Freiheit. I hope to see you again soon. Thank you.

I would gladly choose Derek Freiheit as my primary care physician going forward. I have complete faith and trust in him to provide me with the information that I need to make decisions about many facets of my care, even including helping me to understand the discussions I have had with other physicians. He is.patient, clear, and honest. One of Dr Freiheit's greatest strengths is.his.management style. He runs a good team. He has two excellent APRNs and a dedicated body of RNs backed by a solid group of support people. I would recognize his team skills. Happy people make a great workplace and patients can tell. Highest marks for Derek Freiheit.

From the first phone call then walking in, the receptionist were very kind and helpful. Bring called to the back office I am always greeted by a smile and welcoming attitude. Every single back office team member explained the treatment they’re going to render with details. Every question I have is answered without judgement. Dr Freiheit is such a joy! He is the happiest doctor I have ever had!! So complete with his work! It’s nice to have a doctor that has a personality and can even crack a joke! My experience, though I really wish I didn’t need them, has been encouraging, thorough and kind.
