Dr. Chen is such a good doctor and an amazing listener—always taking the time to really hear you out. I’ve noticed how calm and patient they are, making you feel comfortable right away. They don’t rush, which makes a huge difference when you’re sharing something important. It’s clear they genuinely care about understanding your concerns and figuring things out together. Having someone like that in your corner makes everything feel so much easier.

Everything! From check-in to staff to Dr. Chen, everything went smoothly. They were all helpful and friendly and professional. Dr. Chen was always terrific. He answered all my questions, explained everything, prepared me for my surgery. I felt at ease going in to surgery. My recovery was amazing. I can’t say enough about my experience. I’ve raved about Baptist Orthopedics to everyone.

From the moment you walk up to the checkin desk you are made to feel welcome. It makes such a difference when the office staff enjoy their job. The assistants in the back are very caring and make you feel comfortable. It is so convenient to have x-rays made in the office. The x-ray tech does a great job. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Chen. He has remarkable pre and post-op procedures. I followed his plan as close as I could and never had to take a pain pill stronger than Tylenol after my total knee replacement.

Dr. Chen and his team performed the surgery on a septic knee (staph infection.) Dr. [last name] was a perfect follow up with blood studies and continuing care for my knee. I would highly recommend both doctors at Baptist Medical Center North.

People were really nice and polite. Dr Chen was very nice and took the time to explain every to me and answered all my questions. He didn't rush like a lot of Doctors do because they have so many patients. He makes you feel like you're important and your concern are very important. He stuck a needle in my knee and I think I almost grabbed him the nurse came over and held my hand so I could squeeze it inside of him. Lol

Check-in was seamless and my appointment was on time. Staff, nurse and x-ray technician were courteous, customer service oriented and professional.
Doctor Chen took the time to throughly explain the results of the x-rays and answer questions. I believe it is essential for effective healthcare that a doctor-patient relationship is fostered with open dialogue and Dr. Chen met those expectations.
