Dr. Baykal took care of me while I was hospitalized and continues to provide wonderful care as I recuperate. I had not experienced heart problems before but last August I had a near death experience and my heart and lungs were involved. I’m doing much better and Dr Baykal is certainly one of the reasons. Heart is good! Thanks Doc!!

Dr. Baykal is a very informative & thoughtful cardiologist. I am trying to understand why if on May 4 he said he wanted me to have a Nuclear Stress Test, and my insurance didn't receive anything until July 10. Then declined it because no supported information was submitted 5 days later. I had 2 appointments scheduled for the test and both were cancelled. Yet no one could tell me why. I have been putting off surgery waiting for this test to happen. So, I am not very happy with this situation.

Oh Lordy!! Not enough space here to praise Dr. Baykal’s ability to diagnose and remediate:treat our heart issues. All the while being patient answering all my questions and concerns! Again, Piedmont is lucky to have Dr.Baykal on their team. PS.Again!! Do not burn out our Drs./staff at Piedmont . A 1/2 day on Fridays (which a LOT of offices are going to!) may result in even better service, morale and an appreciation towards the company. ) BTW…morale /service is excellent..let’s keep it that way!
