She is the best. She keeps a close eye on all my labs and has me change RX if needed. She also listens to any concerns I may have.

She had no bedside manner, and acted like she didn’t care to be there. I didn’t feel heard. I feel like I listed my symptoms and she acted like she hears them all day long and it’s just normal but for me it’s not normal.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Dawahir. She was very professional, and attentive to my concerns and discussed a treatment plan to better help with my diabetes.

She seemed very fixated on doing her job and keeping things moving. Might be personal style to be direct and to the point; but to me it came off as very impersonal. Will be seeing for a follow up to see if that's normal or just a one off. If it's normal will be searching for new endocrinologist. I had started our conversation with other symptoms that may or may not be related to my diabetes but the moment she saw diabetic on my chart she pushed the conversation to focus on the details around that. I was also slight annoyed that many questions were a repeat of those I answered with my primary care doctor. I had the expectation I was seeing a specialist, and we'd explore more than had already been explored with my PCP. Came out of it feeling like the appointment was a waste of time minus the orders for a new test and switching to another pre-authorized required drug to which I have no updates about 3 business days later.

Dr D is very caring and will ask you a ton of questions. She will take all the required tests and provide you with some options. This exam will cover all issues you have concerns with.
