He switched me from Mounjaro to Wegovy but the next day in attempting to fill the prescription I learned that I am not eligible for it (Medicare only covers it if the patient has never taken a weight loss drug previously). The out-of-pocket cost is prohibitive. I'm waiting to hear if I should stay on Mounjaro or go back to Ozempic, which I took before Mounjaro.

Doctor Davila understood I was coming from out of state and knew the challenges with that and transferring meds and helped tremendously in getting that done for me. He also was very respectful and listened to the things I was telling him.

Dr. Davila takes my husbands thoughts and concerns and incorporates both during my visits. Dr. Davila is a relatively new provider for both my husband and I (after moving here from Minnesota and leaving our clinic and physician of over 40 years) and he is equally as great as our previous internist and that is very comforting to those our age (70s). Feel very secure under Dr. Davilas care AND in/under the St. Al’s system of providers!
